When and Under What Conditions Is It Used?:
As a basal fertilizer in autumn and spring sowings, on alkaline sites low in organic matter and requiring sulfur.
Application Methods:
Solid granules are applied uniformly at seed level from the seed-drill hopper, or to the soil using spreading equipment.
Application Timing:
Before sowing and transplanting.
Recommended Dosage:
Cereals: 25–35 kg/da; maize, cotton and vegetables: 50–60 kg/da; potato: 90–100 kg/da; trees: 100 g × tree age.
Precautions:
Because the urea and ammonium nitrogen are contained in a leonardite matrix, leaching risk is low; incorporation to basal depth improves performance.
